These terms govern your use of Doctorly — the doctorly.me website, the doctor websites we build and host, and the dashboard doctors use to manage them. By using any of these, you agree to the terms below. If you are claiming a site on behalf of a practice, you confirm you have authority to do so.
What Doctorly is
Doctorly builds professional websites for physicians before they sign up, using public and professionally published information — medical licenses, board certifications, hospital affiliations, publications, and practice details. Doctors can then claim their site, choose a design, edit the content, and keep it live with a paid subscription. Doctorly is a website and marketing service. It is not a medical service, does not provide medical advice, and does not handle patient medical records.
Pre-built sites and claiming
Until a site is claimed, it is a draft assembled from public records, clearly labeled as such. Claiming a site requires verifying that you are the physician the site describes. We may decline or reverse a claim if verification fails. If you are the doctor and you do not want a draft site to exist at all, you can request removal at any time, free of charge, and we will take it down — see our Privacy Policy for how.
Accuracy of content
We work from sources we believe to be reliable, but public records can be outdated or wrong. Draft sites are presented as drafts for that reason. Once you claim your site, you are responsible for reviewing the content and correcting anything inaccurate — the dashboard makes edits instant. You are also responsible for ensuring your site complies with the advertising and professional conduct rules of your licensing board and jurisdiction.
Subscriptions and billing
Keeping a claimed site live requires an active subscription, billed monthly through Stripe. Prices for each plan are shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel at any time and your site stays live through the end of the period you have paid for. There is no build fee, because the site is built before you pay anything. If we change plan pricing, existing subscribers get notice before the new price applies. We do not store full payment card numbers — Stripe handles that.
Your content and your domain
Content you add to your site — your bio, photos, service descriptions — remains yours. You grant us the license needed to host and display it, nothing more. You can export your content at any time. If you connect a custom domain, it stays registered in your name; we only point it at your site. The Doctorly platform, themes, and software remain ours.
Contact form leads
Messages submitted through your site's contact form are stored by us and delivered to you. We hold them on your behalf. You are responsible for handling those messages appropriately, including any obligations you have as a healthcare provider. The contact form is for appointment requests and general enquiries — it is not a channel for clinical communication, and you should not invite patients to send medical information through it.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Doctorly to publish content that is unlawful, deceptive, or infringes someone else's rights; not to claim a site that is not yours; and not to interfere with the platform's operation. We may suspend or remove sites that violate these terms after notice where practical.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Doctorly is provided as-is. We work hard to keep sites fast and online, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, specific search rankings, or a particular volume of patient enquiries. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
Termination
You can stop using Doctorly at any time by cancelling your subscription. We can terminate accounts that breach these terms. On termination, your hosted site comes down at the end of the paid period, and you may export your content beforehand.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be dated above and notified to subscribers by email; continued use after a change means you accept it. Questions about these terms can be sent through the contact form on our About page.
